ID Badges

When you design your ID badges you need to focus on the pieces of information that are important for their function. When designing an employee ID badge you will want to include information that is relevant to the employee, their position and to the company. For example, id badges designed for sales staff will need to include the employee’s name, their department, and the company logo. However, executives may also need security clearance devices added to their id badges.

The next type of ID badges that you can create is seminar IDs. In the past most seminars simply offered attendees a name tag sticker in which the attendee’s name was written in a black marker. Today these stickers are still used, however, they do not look very professional. To create a professional looking ID badge that will double as the attendee’s admittance ticket, you will want to take advantage of custom ID badge printing services or ID desktop publishing kits.

The third type of ID badges that you can create is school ID badges. These IDs can be for teachers, students, staff or visitors. For student ID badges you will want to include a photograph of the student, their student ID number, their name, grade, homeroom teacher and any other special information that is pertinent to the school’s security system. For teachers, an employee photo ID badge template is appropriate. For visitors, a sticker name tag coupled with a reusable security pass can be an easy way to ensure that the people in the school are authorized to be there.

The fourth type of ID badges that you can create is a convention identification badge. When designing convention identification badges you can have a lot of fun. Use color fonts, fancy font styles and graphics to jazz up the card stock badge insert. Customize the name badge’s design by adding a custom lanyard or a beaded lanyard.
